Applying for the Indonesian KNB scholarship, step by step

The KNB (Kemitraan Negara Berkembang) scholarship is offered by the Indonesian government to students from developing countries, and covers tuition, a monthly stipend and a travel ticket.

Who can apply You need a recognised degree in a field that matches the programme you are applying to, and you must not already be enrolled at an Indonesian university. Age limits differ between bachelor and master level, so check the opportunity page before you start.

Core documents A passport valid for at least two years, translated and certified transcripts, a statement of purpose, two recommendation letters, and an English proficiency certificate if the programme is taught in English.
